Hi everyone, just wondering if it is possible and safe to pay NORECO II and Metro Dumaguete Water monthly bills online by setting up a bank account money transfer instead of using GCash?
Metrobank offers the option but I believe only for NORECO I …?

TBH I wouldn't bother. The service providers are often moving the goal posts or the account isn't available due to "technical" issues - and if a payment doesn't go through as planned it is automatically your fault, and up to you to prove otherwise. I also wouldn't trust their security either.

I have had little problem paying Noreco 2 through Lazada, the beauty of using their service is I can pay with my credit card. They charge a small service fee for this service but sure beats standing in line!

Finding alternative ways to pay the water bill seems unnecessary to me.
They accept payment in advance and it's just 200 Peso a month or so. We usually pay 2k ahead, and then don't need to go there again for a fair number of months.

You can also pay Noreco in advance. That's useful when going on vacation.
Paying Filproducts a year in advance saves some hassle and gets a 5% discount.

I pay Noreco 2 using BPI online/app. For MDW I use BDO but I just saw this biller in BPI also, will try it next time.
Find the billers (NORECO 2, and METRO PACIFIC DUMAGUETE WATER...(MDW)), add them as favorites and it will be a few clicks every time you need to pay.

What I understood by paying your Noreco 2 bill online, after completing the transaction you still have to send them a print screen and if not paid online but @the counter of a bank a copy of the payment slip.
Upon receipt of this proof of evidence they will check the payment in their system to validate and if so you will receive the official confirmation you've paid.
So, if you don't notify them chances are your bill can be considered as not paid with all the hassle and consequences.

We pay Noreco at the 7 / 11, no need to send any proof of payment, i think they charge around 15 pesos.

Following on from my previous message, I would like to add the following.
Noreco now only send a confirmation e-mail:

<Quote> This is to inform you that your payment has been successfully posted to your account and your records have been updated accordingly.

Please note that we will not be issuing a separate official receipt. The transaction receipt you received shall serve as your official proof of payment.<QUOTE>

The time elapsed between your e-mail to Noreco and their answer is one week.
