1. Top right on thread page click ignore thread:


2. Select how much ignoring needs to be done:


Thread ignored.

This also works on specific sub-forums as well (So @TheDude isn't forced to read my boring forum updates and fall asleep at the internet cafes. Wait.....this is technically a forum update. d*mn it! Someone go find and wake up TheDude before someone jacks his backpack again.). When on a sub-forum page look in the same area and you will see a "Ignore Forum" link. Works the same.

If you want to stop ignoring a thread/forum (or curiosity gets the better of you and you want to read ignored threads/forums):

1. Go into account settings - https://www.dumagueteinfo.com/board/account/personal-details

2. Go to "Threads You Ignore" (or Forums You Ignore).


3. Check the box next to the thread and select how much un-ignoring you want to do. (Click on the thread link to read the thread.)

See, I can be a passive aggressive dick too.

Threaten to quit using the forum because you were offended. *Yawn* Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Guess what:

• If people aren't given unbridled free speech they threaten to leave the forum.
• If someone gets offended by unbridled free-speech they threaten to leave the forum.
• If I try to meet somewhere in the middle and moderate people they get pissed and threaten to quit the forum.
• If nothing is done people threaten to leave the forum.
• If I'm a totalitarian dick that forces everyone to abide by Christian values people threaten to leave the forum.
• Someone is going to threaten to leave the forum because I wrote this.

Threatening to quit a forum because of a small disagreement in moderating (one that could have been handled quite easily without causing a scene) is childish bullshit and the same a cancerous tumor. This isn't the first time a certain user/group of users has threaten to stop participating on the forum.....but it will certainly be the last time it happens before that tumor gets removed. Not going to let that cancer spread, if I have to remove an entire limb of the forum to get rid of it I won't hesitate.

Next user that publicly threatens to quit will be permanently banned from this site. No amount of @ss-kissing sending people to talk to me will get that ban removed.

So to recap: you had better be quite certain you are ready to quit before you go publicly announcing it again, because you aren't going to have a choice once I see it.
