After obtaining US citizenship for my son we then filed for SSA payments. We need to open an account under his name with my wife as Representative Payee. I currently have several accounts with BDO but when I approached them to open this account I was told that they did not handle "third party accounts" .
My question is a simple one, Any prior banking experience out there ?

I had the same issue. BDO’s strict corporate policies will not allow so we opened up accounts at Metro Bank. The account in my wife’s name with son as recipient (in trust for). Auto transfer.
