@patty Yes the aircon and the beers are very cold, but the restaurant upstairs part of the same establishment does not open until Wednesday.
Starting tomorrow (Thurs Nov 7th) the bar is open at 8am so that you can watch the live NFL Football, NBA Basketball and NHL Hockey games and enjoy breakfast from the restaurant upstairs. We have the best sausages in Dumaguete from a famous Australian butcher on a french baguette, gruyere cheese and a side of baked beans for P 250 along with free fresh brewed coffee (from real beans, not instant) available from 8am to 11pm. The restaurant is now in its soft opening upstairs, "Word of Wings Famous American Chicken Wings" and open until midnight each night. Combos with your choice of Wing flavours, rice or home made french fries, carrots, blue cheese dipping sauce and a drink start at only P 90. More details to follow on the restaurant in another post. We are located just along the north national Hwy on the Dumaguete side of St. Paul University access from the Jetti gasoline station. Enjoy the games! I visited WOW on Wednesday. The sports bar is on the first floor, the second floor is the restaurant, although they can serve the wings in the sport bar area. The TV is big. They have not developed menus for the Wings yet, so the opening of the food section may have been a little premature, but the sports bar seems to operate well. As a sports bar in that section of town, it is probably a good bet..
Yup we are still tinkering with the menu but the feedback from everyone on the Wings has been excellent so far. We don't want anything on there that the team cannot prepare to a high standard regardless of who is in the Kitchen (common problem here as you know) so we want to offer you quality over quantity of selection. Menu's will be up and finalized by Monday and a grand opening coming the following week. Tomorrow night should be pretty busy with the Chelsea vs. Liverpool Football game on live at 8:45pm so great time to check it out.
