This morning, the PNP Police Chief in Valencia sent the below message. He gave me permission to share it on the forum. I am pleased to see Valencia is actively pursuing criminal activity! Note: The message appears verbatim.

"Anti-illegal Drug Opn in Valencia Negros Oriental. At about 5:40 am of Jan 25 2016,operatives of Valencia PNP led by PCI Alfonso A Enriquez in coordination with PDEA Dumaguete conducted service of SW 05-2016 issued by Hon Judge Gerardo A. Paguio at Bgry Palinpinon this municipality.As a result,Angel Ramirez,32 yo,married and a resident of Palinpinon Valencia Neg Or was arrested.Confiscated in his possession and control 7 pcs heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected methamphetamine hydrocloride or other known as shabu.Case for viol of RA 9165 will be filed in court thru inquest. PCI ALFONSO ENRIQUEZ,OIC Valencia PS commended his personnel for a job well done."

 

Agreed but they only ever seem to go after the little fish... Maybe the big fish are too well connected???
