How bonkers can it get?! There's no logical reason to keep NegOr province tied into the rest of Region 7. It's madness.
Skipping the melodrama, the logical reason is obvious. The leadership wants to add resistance so that if it spreads here from the island next door it will hopefully not spread so fast that it can be snuffed out with contact tracing and isolation.
Sorry, how does that work? If there are no cases, there will surely be no resistance built up? We are just sitting here waiting to be infected when the borders reopen. We might as well be having some fun in the meantime.
