    I don't know.
Drop by the vaccination center later in the day. I understand that some of the vaccination centers outside of Dumaguete will vaccinate walk-ins with the vaccine that they have remaining for the day. If Valencia has closed the large vaccination center then go to the health office.

As I understand, many of the BPOs have already had their employees vaccinated. Here is a BPO in Valencia reporting their first dose. You can see the poster in back stating that the ICT industry has a special vaccination schedule.

Officially the general population starts next month.

They are skipping priority groups B1 - B5 and going straight to C?

Vaccines are available locally, no need to travel. However, because the availability is limited, one needs to be either 60 plus, or have a comorbidity or be a front liner to be eligible so far.

And the next groups are for the general workforce and the poor. I'm way down there in C.

In the article above posted by skipjack they say "general population" but I think they mean the general working population. Which is understandable, I just wish they would get their messaging across better. They should have just said "vaccines will available to all remaining priority groups" or "priority groups B1 through B5".

As a C, my guess is that in early October, you will be able to walk in without an appointment and get vaccinated. As I understand you can do this now in the afternoon when the vaccination site wants to use up their daily allotment.

Soon the country will be awash in vaccines. There are 60 million arriving in September and October alone. 30 million per month is far more per month than in the past. In order to speed up enough to use the increase in supply, the vaccination centers will not bother with the appointment list. With so many vaccine doses to deploy quickly, tracking the Bs is not worth the effort.

The only bottleneck will be the recording of who was vaccinated. This is now being tracked so that people will not go in multiple times.

And recording has been a total fiasco so far.. I tried to get registered on the Bureau of Science and Technology web site.. sorry only for those vaccinated in the National Capital Region. Next try World Health Passport, checked Cebu and Bacolod no appointments ready until December.. Raised sh*t with the travel agent as i am going abroad.. no problem sir, if you are travelling just bring your tickets to Provincial Health Office with Vaccination Cards and ID and they will give you a Government Certificate. Nothing published anywhere about this..

My wife and her brothers (age range 38 to 22 - no comorbidities) went to our local vaccination centre and all received the one-shot Janssen vac. Just call your local health centre and find out when/where they're doing it and what they're using.

There are regular fb posts on the Provincial Government page about vaccine arrivals. Just check to see what has arrived and time accordingly if you are looking for specific brand.

Also, I am aware of incentives (informally) where they will vaccinate under-60s who accompany a senior who may otherwise be reluctant or face logistical issues. This could be used in any way desired for someone under 60 looking for a jab. They cannot know who is/was reluctant. I'm sure it's just about timing and having a bit of confidence to spin a line to them.

My wife (44, no priority) and I (63, tourist visa) went thru our Barungay Health Center, and received the one-shot Janssen vac just a few days later -- 6 weeks ago. (both had minor side-affect of 24 hours diarrhea starting 48 hrs after jab, some tiredness).
