This time they say it will include most everyone from San Jose, Dumaguete, and Valencia, no mention of Bacong or Dauin.

Noreco are building a new storage site the other side of dauin near atmosphere resort for storage of equipment and poles etc, heard they will be doing a lot of pole changes and maintenance along the highway in the near future. This only means one thing, lots more Sundays without leccy! :(

Just got another update from Noreco on facebook. Looks like Valencia may be hit both Saturday and Sunday:

    Power Service Interruption

    Advisory from: NORECO II
    Date : Saturday, September 22, 2012
    Time : 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Area/s Affected:
    Tuwang, Pamplona to Dobdob, Valencia

    Reason/s:

Replacement of broken/dilapidated backbone poles and clearing of vegetation along the affected areas.

***Affected areas are advised to take the necessary pre-cautions. When power is restored, please wait for 10-15 minutes before switching on all appliances and facilities to avoid power surge. NORECO II REGRETS FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE.

and the fraud and garbage continues.....

Wonder why electric rates here are among the highest per KWH in the world when there's a geothermal plant right here?

SCE in southern california sells electricity at 1/3 the cost Noreco sells it at.

Won't apologize for having struck a nerve with you. Maybe you're having a bad day.

It's just an observation I've made and I can't figure out the reason why electric is so expensive here.

If we do not like our gas or elec price we use a price match site via postcode and you can switch as much as you like but to get the good discounts it's usually 1yr with same company. Seems here in the Phil's each island has its own company and fixes its prices to what ever they want as no competition, I think it was mentioned a while ago noreco want to get their prices up to around 12peso kwh! And what can we do about it nothing! Join the fb page and complain only to never get an answer :(
