How to images in comments

Every time i copy and paste an image in a comment once i am finished the next time i look at my comment the image is reduced to a link, i cannot remember this happening before, has there been some change made or i am i doing something wrong ?

 

Same for everyone but Crystalhead I think. Not sure why the site settings have changed, but it's been like that for a long time already.

 

Not being technically minded I think the size of some postings absorbs too much capacity to show in it's original form.
Copyright is something else to consider.
There are lots of free images available, however some companies claim copyright even though the posted wording should be the actual property of the person who wrote it in the first place.
By using their chosen own background they feel they have the right to claim copyright!!!
However they can't police every website or every persons PC......just my own thoughts as to why it is the way it is. JB

 

You may want to create a test account without admin privileges, then try to post an image. It really only works for the Crystalhead account. Regular accounts can't include a pic in their post, only a link.
Similarly, the last time someone managed to add a picture to an album under the Media tab is more than 3 years ago.
I tried, it really doesn't work anymore. When trying to upload, you get an error.
