I was in a trike that got backed into by a Multicab and it's metal bar construction held up quite well. At speed on the highway might be a different story of course.
Was considering something similar. Anyone have information on the Rascal Electric trikes? Price, practicality, durability?
Oh! Check out Bud Brown on youtube. I know that they are slow charging and Bud bought a second battery to extend the range. It looked like it would move pretty good 30 mph but I wouldn't want to take one too far out of town where traffic might move faster. Whatever they say the range is I would discount it by 50% because generally they rate e-bikes and scooters on flat ground at optimum speed not stopping and starting and you might be able to walk faster than the trike in it's last km or mile in the range test. They have to sell them after all. Think golf cart. That is what Bud calls his. I hope this helps.
