Is he perhaps closed for the end of year holidays? I looked in there this morning at about 10.30 and firmly closed up. Looked to be the same when I went past again at about 1pm
No he closes every Monday. That's when he usually does some charity work for local school kids etc... He is open from about 8am till 10pm Tuesday through Sunday.
Popped in again last night an glad we did so. Bought a bottle of wine with us and just as soon as we arrived the very perishable owner opens and brings it back in a ice bucket. Nice and cosy inside, no traffic noise and air con. He joined us and we chatted for some hours. Amazing bloke, my partner is keen on baking so not only did he share many secrets but insisted on lending books on same. Really he is his own worst enemy, the complimentary which is lovely vege curry and corn bread is a meal in itself....So much so we could only manage a main between us and where totally full. Delightful evening, charming host and hostess and total bill comes to P180. One feel guilty even with a decent tip which he does not encourage.
Agree with all the above comments! Went there tonight with missus, helper and baby. Food excellent, great ambiance with Bob Marley in the background anmd the owner is a real nice guy! Thoroughly enjoyable and will be returning shortly!

I took the wife to True Love last week. Ordered the jerk chicken and she got the grilled parrot fish. For me, the jerk chicken wasn't up to the taste and flavors I experienced while in Jamaica. The wife said she truly enjoyed the parrot fish and it was the first time she'd eaten it. Service was very good! Actually the service was exceptionally good!
