A bit wierd

Anyone else find it a bit wierd that western countries seem to have faster spread of covid-19 then Philippines?

Something I am missing, or is there info not reaching us?

We 'had' the virus here in dmgt, suddenly it's over as quickly as it came?

 

It might be that the Philippines did things right.

On the day after the Chinese announced the virus the PI said "no more flights from Wuhan". The following day the PI government told China and the Chinese airline to send 3 empty planes to Katiklan (Boracy) to pick up 500-600 Chinese tourists from Wuhan and sent them back to China.

In Italy they screened Chinese people coming from China. They didn't screen the Italians on the same plane. Morons! Italy is now a hot bed of infections.

Canada sent a plane to bring back people from the cruise ship tied up in Japan (I call it the SS. Petri Dish). Once the passengers arrived at a Canadian Military base the Human Rights Lawyers started screaming "these people are having their charter rights violated". It seems some people thought the suspect passengers should be free to roam around.

 

There does seem to be some correlation with climate - mostly far Northern hemisphere countries have it spreading. Probably the same as norovirus - all the conditions are perfect in the Philippines for it except the heat.

 

True - the Free World will have so many exemptions from controls that it is like catching fleas in a fishing net.

 

Btw, I think this is now a pandemic but WHO does not want to use that word - because of the PANdemIC within it. Currently the Philippines appears to be coping well.

 

Singapore and the Philippines have pretty much the exact same climate. Wet and dry and friggin hot. And they are registering a lot of infections.

 

There are clusters in some countries and that may be based on a particular source of infection (e.g a sect in Korea). Also, Singapore is very densely populated.

 

Here in Oklahoma, we had a few that were being watched, but was determined they were negative. No confirmed cases here thus far.....

Can anyone confirm if this is true for any other TV provider? And what about radio?

My best advice on this one is full Hazmat for ALL leisure activities - at least it will help keep the population down.
