Has anyone actually successfully ordered an air pistol online and received it in the Philippines or is all this talk of "Back in my home country, I had this and that"? I'm a little confused here.

My neighbor bought one at Cangs. It lasted about two days. It was pretty useless unless you wanted to bludgeon someone.

They were selling air pistols top floor at the back of tops n bottoms last time I was there. They even have little target range set up. Don'r expect massive power from them though
I remember having a quick look at them one day while I was there and thought they looked more like toys. I seriously doubt they could penetrate the paper targets... At the time I was looking at something to relieve boredom before I gained an internet connection at home, and thought some target practice might do the job as I would like to have plugged a few cheeky Rats who liked to climb the rafters and SQUEAK LOUDLY at me when I looked at them. I got the internet and a box of Rat bait to solve the first two problems. I am still considering to arrange for my Wife to gain a Firearms Licence so we can buy a gun that does what it is supposed to do, as in all seriousness, I doubt any of the available Air Guns will do the right job at the end of the day let alone be a deterrent.
