Have any of you purchased ammonia in Dumaguete. I have looked at a few places for it and cannot find it. I am aware it can be a dangerous chemical, not need a little for cleaning. Thanks.
Pat, Try a pharmacy. Not sure but they may have it we think. As you probably know, never ever mix it with bleach, the fumes can kill quickly.
2 months ago I bought a first aid kit in a pouch package at Watsons pharmacy robinsons, it has Ammonia bottle with it. Cost around 250pesos.
We cleaned the carpets before I received the ammonia from Firefly so this time we used the recipe you sent minus the ammonia - warm water, dishwashing soap, and vinegar. We cleaned the driveway and then used sponges and the cleaner on the two carpets while on the concrete. One is a 8 foot round carpet and the other a 6X5. After cleaning they dried in the sun for four hours. Worked fine. Next cleaning we will add the ammonia to the formula.
