I'm in for a cataract operation by ACE and need a cardio pulmonary clearance.
Any recommendations for a doctor/clinic with not to much hassle???
    Thanks

Thank you but the thing is I don't want to go to Cebu or MNl. I'm too glad it can be done here. What I need is only a CPC.

Hi there! Eye surgeries need cardio clearances for diabetic or +50 year old patients. Dr. Frances Yap of ACES clinic recommends Dr. Bryan Calinawagan as he does most of the cardio certification for them. His clinic is across the Bangko Central (central Bank) in Daro. Love and Care clinic I think was the name. I am not too sure.

Thanks, I went there yesterday. Only by appointment what I had (so I thought) at 3 pm. When I came there at 2.40 pm I found out the doc no t there yet and I was patient #8 on the list !!!! Appointment? disappointment is a better word. So still no CPC.

If you have a regular doctor, like we do at Silliman, they can do a CP Clearance in a few minutes. Although at Silliman, you need to get a "priority number" at 7 am, which only takes 10 min if you're a senior (we show up at 6:50, guard starts the line moving exactly at 7). We only live 10 minutes away so no hassle. We also can judge if we're in the first 3 or so, we know about how long the doc takes with each priority number. One of the first things we did when we got here 3 years ago was get a regular doctor (500 peso consulting fee each visit), check in regularly at least once a year...
