    Could someone in Dumaguete, please let the Check Inn know that someone has stolen what I assume to be one of their email accounts?

    I receive this today, from this account: checkinn_dgte @ yahoo . com

    I didn't contact them through their contact form, because I have had bad luck making contact with Philippine hotels and resorts over the years, via their websites.

    Thanks for anyone who may help sort this,

    I recieved a similar email from a local bamboo company . . .

    I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, am very sorry i didn't inform you about my trip, few days back i made an unannounced vacation trip to Madrid, Spain and unfortunately i got attacked and mugged at gun point on my way to the hotel where i stayed, all cash, credit card and cell were stolen off me but luckily i still have my passports left with me.

    I've been to the embassy and the Police but they are not helping me at all and my return flight leave in couples of hour and am having problems settling the hotel bill but the hotel manager won't let me leave until i settle the bills.

    Am freaked out at the moment...I need your urgent help.

    They had also had thier email account hacked, needless to say a few days later i was sent an apology from them and the Innocent Party.
