Lorraine and I are contemplating moving from Dauin to just a little south of Cebu City. We have a modest house-full of stuff - fridge, stove, kitchen stuff, bed, bookcases, dining table and chairs, recliners, and so on and so forth. A small self-contained house of western stuff. Can anyone recommend a company that can come in and pack-and-move?
I have no experience about that but, if you fail to find a removal company, what about hiring a van and some reliable (!) workers (heavily supervised, of course, with payments on results if possible) and DIY?
A friend used matio to move from here to bayawan a few yrs back,pretty big truck and they did a good job,not sure of the price though.

I just talked to Matiao today, May 26, 2017 and they quoted me 25,000 to move me from Talisay City, Cebu to Bacong. I get the whole truck, 30 foot bed, for that. Some trucks are sides only with a tarp and some are enclosed. Your choice. I have to furnish my own crew to load in Cebu and they furnish the crew in Bacong to unload into the house. In my case, once here, they are transferring to a smaller truck in order to get down the drive to the house. My drive in Bacong is too small for the 30 foot truck to negotiate.
