I have a different view. The noise, sure its terrible, loud and unnessecary, however, i think its more of a tool, ney, a weapon against the unobservant Tricycle drivers, and other ignorant road users. The loudness allows the drivers and riders who have obviously lost the use of thier eyes, to use another sense, to HEAR people coming. Maybe i should switch from my stealthy whisper exhaust i currently have fitted where no one hears me approaching, thus nearly having accidents, to a loud exhaust that shouts 'HEAR ME COMING, I AM LOUD, HERE I AM, DONT TURN IN FRONT OF ME OR PULL OUT, I AM LOOOUUUDDD !!!!' just another way to look at the problem.
yup Rhoody you are correct I stuffed up hehe, in Australia it is 94 db for motor bikes so these guys here must be around 200 plus just a guess
Anything over 78 db requires some form of hearing protection . over 125 db requires double hearing protection. Thats OSHA safety guideline.
Hahaha no way - but thats my way of thinking !! They certainly dont use their eyes to see what they are about to hit or what could hit them, maybe their ears would help their spacial awareness !!!

give me a break... ... what does that bunch of media-rocket-scientists expect in a city where motorbikes outnumbers cars 10:1. maybe another article where more cars are involved in street-accidents than electric wheelchairs? well at least some of the copy paste stuff from other sources makes sense (not the FB part though)
