I keep seeing people boasting their SRRV done in a couple days, but are they actually talking about the USD20G version? That needs zero Apostille it seems... or perhaps I am wrong? The military SRRV [I'd love it of course] needs gov proof.... that might take quite a while from some countries plus their military archives won't know nothing about international stuff.... Plus certified non-English translation...... All the others -below USD20G, that require proof of gov pension must have it Apostille'd.... and I'd guess that might take quite a while with certain countries that don't use English... don't have a clue about "apostille", don't have a Consulate within 2 weeks travel time from my present residence, etc etc? I'd really like to hear details from all the people that have gone tru all of THIS. IF the apostilling was to take months, did I read somewhere that the SRRVisa would be given without it, and the apostille'ing could be achieved months later or something? How about monthly bank statements at first? Even them taking a pix of my bank received payments, live on my lappy in their office? All those timelines seem grossly uncertain to me. And not really willing to put away USD 20G to get an acceptable timeline. IF I was to go SRRV I need a reasonable timeline as I would have a container on the way soon. Dilemma! I used https://www.usauthentication.com/rates-us-authentication/ , took a couple weeks to recieve the documents in the Philippines using thier FEDEX option. I was able to email the documents I needed apostled to them.
