Not yet. Previous one arrived via a credit card from states, which can be deposited directly into a bank account (used US account). Checked IRS website a couple days ago and just now, and nothing yet on new one. ("info not available"). Just need ssn, dob, and address (address on your tax return). Hopefully will get this one direct deposit, hope it doesn't need trumps name on this one.
How long does it take to get US citizenship (if an ape) as these checks are amazing - I feel I am missing out a link.
Nothing. Not sure if I qualify yet. Hopefully once I file my taxes I will be able to come back and show the IRS my income for 2020 was under the 80k limit and will receive my handout.
With a 80k US$ yearly income, the government will still give you an handout! Looks like my cradle stood in the wrong country.
Direct deposit in our US bank account March 12. That's taxable income. Does not include pre-tax income of up to 20% in 401k and $3600 for HSA.
There is also the FEIE. They don't appear to treat this exclusion the same as 401K/IRA/HSA contributions. I think it has something to do with that being considered a tax "credit". I didn't have any overseas income (or any real income) for 2020, but that return still hasn't been filed yet. CPA currently working on it.
FEIE could be treated differently. CPA filed ours in February. It took one week for state and Fed to deposit into our account. 2020 completed might have sped ours stimulus along. On a side note, the US tax deadline was extended to July 15. https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/tax-da...ederal-tax-payments-regardless-of-amount-owed
On USA Today, the fed will announce the date when stimulus will be sent out to those not filing tax returns but receiving SSA
