Got a call for Type 0+ at provincial hospital lower annex CHARITY OB (can also be 0B) GYNE 1 in Dumaguete Person affected: JENNIFER SAAVEDRA 25 yrs old.. ( CANCER PATIENT ) 1 (probably 2) bag needed. She have Cervial Cancer. Contact person: Ronila Elola (1st cousin) CP#: 09357596613 For the complete case read this (Cebuano). Another sad story.
As I think you will be aware (I am not sure if your "Dr" title is a medical qualification, but I note you seem not aware how to spell "cervical"), O- blood (your blood group) is suitable for donation to an O+ recipient.
I believe he has stated before that his name is from an online game, not a medical doctor qualification. Also he is currently in Switzerland so it may take a while for him to get downtown to donate.
The first thing is a typo I noticed too late. The second thing is well known to me. The third thing is, that not everyone on this forum like me, are currently in the Philippines. Therefore I can't donate blood for her. The fourth thing is that my nick is coming from an online game and have nothing to do with a real doctor. Even if I have a better knowledge of medical things. Thanks and cudos to AlwaysRt to clarify it.
I was not aware that locations shown here have any relationship whatsoever to actual locations (i.e. VPN) but I see the problem of donating from Switzerland. Just hope no-one takes your "Dr" title seriously if you offer medical advice/information here; we all know how gullible people can be.
Strange request as 40% of the population is 0+. I have never seen a family gathering here that was not attended by 30 to 50 relatives when I am paying for the lechon and beer. So my question is why is this child's family (and I feel for her) not lined up at the hospital to save her. Has she no family , friends, classmates, relatives etc??? Call me a heartless @ss but I can't be the only one wondering this. I hope she survives and after the family has all donated, sold their cars, phones, pigs etc....I will give a pint...
Hi, I offered to donate, but was told the patient has left the hospital and decided to "have home medication". Mark
Yeah. Heard this also few minutes before this post. She left on her own wish. She no longer want to disturb other patients with her screaming. If you still want to help please contact the person mentioned in the starting topic. She is in need of constantly blood conserves due her cancer is causing blood loss.
If that is the case she likely just signed her death certificate. You can't rub some weeds on cancer and expect to be cured. @Dr. Shiva any update on why the girl left the hospital?
Edited it in my post above. She got chemo at march 7th. But she still have her hair. Therefore I have some doubt that the medicine did worked. Cervical cancer is in state 3 with metastasis in the kidneys.
