I will share the following cold remedy that has twice worked successfully for me here. It is often hard to cure a cold, given the hot weather and air con car and bedroom. A good friend here from Scotland put me onto this.
HOT TODDY
6 ounces hot water
3 cloves
1 or 2 tablespoon honey (you can substitute brown sugar for honey)
1 ounce lemon juice or calamansi juice
1 or (2 for me, bad cold) shots whiskey (I used some Johnny Walker Black I had). Can use green tea for virgin or morning drink
Stir then breathe in the steam and drink and enjoy. For me, no headache and good results.
