    Most meats smoked here are from mango chips,i think naturally negros use them also

    Everyone I know who smokes meat uses the wood shavings from the local furniture makers. They mostly times give it away.
    But if you offer to buy it I am sure they will take your money. The Philippine Mahogany chips work well.
