The suggestion of @Show Pony to drop into one of the electronic supplies worked out pretty well.
My first choice Algoritme, a computer shop on the highway North, I always frequent this place to solve a problem with a laptop. So far they fixed all jobs to my full satisfaction. Once they were even able to make a working dashcam again out of 2 broken one.
Today went back to inquire and much to my surprise, good news, they also fixed the charger for a more than reasonable and fair price of only 250 peso. A tip of 50 peso I gave, was accepted of course.
The name and location of the company @Notmyrealname posted, I will save for any future repairs if necessary.
