I most certainly do not miss my Quarterly 40,000+php Electricity Bills I left behind in Oz back in 2014 (using NO Air-con or Heaters!) compared to what equates to around 6,000php per Quarter here!

I certainly do! It's in my opinion a really pertainant subject, since all I ever hear here is guys(us guys), complaining about gasoline prices, electricity prices rental prices, insurance prices, car prices, food prices, etc. My answer is that I would love to see one of those guys try and survive in Australia, cos when aussies come to the Philippines, it's like being in "price heaven" compared to sydney. Ask any aussie.

"A study conducted by the company and commissioned by Meralco"

Basically this says everything you need to know about that article.

It says, prices are some of the highest in the world, but there is nothing you can do about it. Great idea letting the "company" doing a study on themselves, I'm sure they were completely honest.

On my just received March bill the generating price is 6,4134 !!?? This is in Amlan with Noreco2. This makes a end p[rice of P11,072 per kw. Over the year 2009 I paid P 6,53 per kw.
Also the used kw is about 25% higher than normal. They did the same with the last price increase. The two months before the bill was lower than normal and then with the increase they let you pay the increased price for electricity used before the increase.
    Smart or criminal???
