    Anyone install solar recently, currently talking to a company based at portal west DPX about going ahead with some breed of solar as I think that noreco will be up in a heap for a while yet (NO, I have no link or proof that will be the case its just my gut feeling, if rich countries are predicting power shortages, can't see how this mob can stay afloat), past months anything to go by, soon the brownouts will be labeled such as the people and place restrictions, ECQ, MECQ, GCQ, and MGCQ brownouts

    Be accurate, it's a BLACKOUT.
    We are thinking of solar hybrid, by tying to the grid and also using batteries for the unreliable Philippine power grid, and having a generator which we don't have to run when batteries would work. Noreco engineer didn't like batteries idea. Also too complicated, still trying to work out the design, ...

    I have a generator but Sky Cable (TV & wifi) apparently do not so not worth the noise just for a fan. I will use my wife’s Globe 4G - bluetooth/cellular connection for temporary internet.
