My gf is looking for belly dancing lessons, anyone know where they teach belly dancing? She saw the kids being taught in the mall now must have lessons, who am I to object?
I have never heard of such a thing in Dumaguete. You might be able to contact one of the instructors in Manila and ask them if they know of any in the area. You can try to go ask at MEV Dance Studio in Dumaguete: 32-A Flores Avenue, Dumaguete City, 6200, Negros Oriental I only know of this business from a search result so I'm not sure if they still exist. This website looks a bit "aged" but it might get you going in the right direction. There is a forum for belly dancing as well. Someone online said they have found belly dancer instructors in the Philippines there.
Searched forum for dumaguete and found no results. We went to MeV and the dance studio on Cervantes st. Neither had belly dancing or new where to look. We saw a belly dancing teacher in the mall which is what started this quest so surely there is someone here!
It is on E.J. Blanco drive. Almost to the ocean. They were friendly but didn't know anyone who taught belly dancing.
Is there such a thing as a "Management Office" in Robs Mall ? Or whatever they call it here, a place where such activities as the belly dance can be booked. I assume they have to book it with someone. That someone may know someone who knows someone, and so on..............
The General Services Office is at the far end of the 2nd floor along the corridor to to CR's next to the Book Shop and Pagi-Big counter. the Administration Offices are upstairs next to the Lift (Elevator) just past Robinsons Appliances, to wards the Department Store. Having said that did the OP try at the Tourist Office, I know that this is not the first time Belly Dancing has come up here If my memory Serves me Right, I have an Idea that Ronnie, (Shadows Wife) was Interested in this a couple of years ago. I may be wrong but I am 99.9% sure this has come up before. JP
