As the lockdown continues in the UK, protesters have shown their dismay. Watch out, the over 70's may well be the next to march in protest. According to one of the latest news items, aging pensioners in UK could face restrictions on movement via their ability to drive at night or due to their health in general. Talk of restricting driving to a 20/30 mile radius for the over 70's! Why penalize everyone for the problems of the few? Or the gummint is not capable of enforcing any ability-based laws in the UK (or sound familiar?)... I don't know the answer.
Can't see the article, but it says 'continue driving.....' even with some illnesses that can cause issues with driving ability. That could be read as a concession to the more elderly as they recognise that there are more of them. Depends on the final detail I guess.
