    Definition of brownout
    : a period of reduced voltage of electricity caused especially by high demand and resulting in reduced illumination

    In our area we have a perpetual brownout, the voltage never gets above 210 :boohoo:

    Well whatever the correct name is, in East Balabag we're now on 8 of them in the last 8 days.

    So the magic 10 out of 10 is getting nearer. Quite exciting really. I wonder if there's a prize.

    Actually I've realised I was wrong. It was 9 brownouts in 10 days. We just missed out on the complimentary brownout. But they'll probably give one to us anyway because they're nice like that...

    Maybe the forum should set up an award system. Then when Noreco achieve the stated level of incompetence the award could be sent to them - then see if they publish that one

    i attached a foto of a b-out waiting to happen.

    i also attached the same foto to my online bill payment last month and asked them to plz forward it to the proper dept; my incoming line is 6ft off the ground due to the leaning post. they replied i should contact that dept myself with no hints what the department is called or contact info.

    I sent them pictures and statement about an illegal connection. They responded where is this please, i said don't you recognize your building in your yard in Mangnao and the wires running across my driveway to 5 squatter houses on the beach with no meters as i mentioned it to the meter reader and he replied they don't have meters and its not his department...
