I am sure this will surprise no-one (RC country and lack of contraception!) but I have a friend who acquired two cats and then a job which means not being around much - my advice has been to re-home them to a caring home who has someone living at home much of the day.

Both are females, one age 15 months and one 8 months - the owner is VERY caring and kind to them so I seek a good home and to stay TOGETHER. They just lack having someone around all day to be with them but importantly to be on hand should an illness arise. The owner has understood my message.
