    Thanks for advise about Yolly, hern and husband visit here yesterday, really nice couple, both of them help with my problems, they have a big knowledge and are very good to explain what they are doing, so even I understand, lol. Make me feel comfortable in future about computer problems. The charge is very fair/low. Happy for many good advise in this forum

    This sounds like a problem I had not long ago with an HP laptop, following a lightning storm. Algorhithm tested the AC adapter and sold me a new one for P1000. Problem solved. On the north highway at Daro.

    If you know anyone that has volt meter I would check your getting voltage from adapter. If there is voltage then I would suspect battery and lastly the jack where you plug adapter into laptop could have broken solder connection inside comp. I have a Dell and have had problem not charging an it was all 3 of the above causes at different times ( it's an old dell laptop that I leave plugged in an power up 24/7. hopefully an expert can often any other solutions
