A good selection of pretty good burgers here. Located on the boulevard at the La Residencia Inn. Place is small but you can order then sit in the aircon Don Ataliano restaurant there.

When I was visiting back in 2008 it was my faved place for pizzas, burgers, and steaks. I wish they would post a full menu up somewhere as I heard they have cut it back. The steaks and burgers were all from Australia at that time.

Went once, about a year ago, but haven't tried it again. It seemed like all of the ingredients were pretty good quality, but the burger itself, the patty, was soggy. Not moist, but soggy, wet, just like a Yumburger actually.

I'm not trying to put it in the same 'class' as a Yumburger - much, much better of course. But 'soggy', not 'moist', not 'juicy', soggy. All I could think of was a Yumburger really.

Just tell the grill cook how you want it and they do it just how you want it, good burgers, I frequent the place regular.

Now that sounds like a reasonable explanation. Maybe there's some other factor involved? Cooking the patty while still frozen versus thawed? Something like that?

Anyway, might not be typical of the place. It was a one and done for us, but we usually don't go out for burgers, mostly stick to making them at home.
