    A mistake? Some have said:
"Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others."

Good thing the US is a Republic. China and Russia are democracies, how's that working out?

Based on that video I put forth my opinion that this is the very basis for dumbing down and polluting the education system. Socialisms first requirement is an ignorant uneducated populace for its seed of socialistic destruction to take root. The socialist elites first take control over the education system and demonize religion. This may and probably will take a generation to complete but Socialist are patient and relentless. Keeping the population childlike in their thinking guarantees their success and freedom from dissension. banning all opposing thought and debate through the practice of attacking and defaming the dissenter. The book Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky is the playbook for the people who would use democracy to kill a Republic

Yes. One person's view. You can surely find another, opposite viewpoint, if you search other videos. I would still rather have the right to vote for someone I view as a smart fellow rather than have someone who thinks they know it all decide for me. But anyone who thinks they already know it all will surely differ.

I think there should be an intelligence test before you are allowed to vote. It would pose questions which have been in the political arena and give multiple choices and so filter out the uninformed. I was involved in politics in a small way and despaired at the lack of knowledge that the voters had when making their choice. The two most popular reasons given for voting for a particular candidate were, they liked his or her face, or they had always voted for that party. The candidates agenda was rarely mentioned.
