Why that word came to mind today, I dont really know. Being layed up for the last two days with a bad chest infection, I have just checked my computer for updates, e-mails and the usual topical subjects. enough said! Apart from the definition of the word, I was surprised to find just how many British Diplomats and Embassies there are in the USA alone. One Definition for diplomacy being..... Diplomacy is the art of, the science, and the means by which nations, groups, or individuals conduct their affairs, in ways to safeguard their interests and promote their political, economic, cultural or scentific relations, while maintaining peaceful relationships. Question being, is diplomacy really working in todays world ? The only thing worth fighting for is Peace by diplomatic means. My thought for today...JB Diplomacy
