    Hi does anyone have recent experience on how long it takes to get the hard plastic license after application......thx in advance

    About 6 months in a case I am aware of - but this is not a place where you can assume there are standard times for anything.

    Ive given up on the plastic now unless you want to wait in robinsons from 4am. The paper bit can stay until it runs out. Last post i heard the printer was broken. Next time will renew in main office.

    a recent facebook report said printer was down, will be months away at least, tens of thousand ahead of you, waiting...

    We applied last November at main LTO, not Robinson’s. Got plastic license in March. However, it wouldn’t have bothered us so much NOT to have the plastic card since we had copies of the OR folded up in my wallet/her purse. I don’t think govt would have given us a problem with that since govt itself is responsible for the delay. I may be wrong.

    I would recommend the main LTO, ask the girl at the customer service desk what documents you need to bring to get a Philippine drivers license. The staff there is usually helpful.
