DavyL200, please go back to KTM's post and read it 25 times.. It all starts with "Bunging" a few peso's, then wait for the time the police show up and you are arrested for 1. In posession of an unregistered fire arm. 2. Firing in an unathorized location. 3. To keep out of jail you will have to pay a small gratuity to your police buddy which has already been agreed upon with his friends how the split works and you will be left with no cash and no friends.. and probably end up broke and in jail anyway..
"Protection order" is what is being claimed can be obtained. I'm assuming this for when someone threatens your life. I am not trusting this guy so I will be backing off it.
How many times have I heard this one ' I have a friend ' Etc. Go to a proper gun shop with your wife & Buy & register it in her name . Foreigners are not permitted to own or carry firearms in this country { Unless you have a real good reason } Most gun shops will do the rego work for you, all your wife needs are some photos & ID. Go this route & every thing is legal. Go the 'I Have a Friend' route Well that's up to you.
