    I know this is a Long shot but I have to try. I have a 1HP Hayward pool pump that has a problem. The plastic shaft seal housing has melted and I can't find a replacement in stores or on line. Anyone have an old one I can scavenge parts from? I hate to pay P20-25k for a new one unless all resources fail. Thanks

    I had a shaft seal fail on my Hayward 3/4 hp pump. I took it to Polaris and had it back the next day. I forget the cost but it was pretty small.

    My problem is the shaft seal plate melted , Polaris can't order it. They did a very tempiry epoxy fix. I may have a suplier in Manila but their closed for Holy Week
