Hi to all! My american partner of many years and I will be moving to Dumaguete this sunday for the next year (or two). My partner got the job to lead/head one of the call centers in the city. I'm filipino but has never been to this part of the Philippines. I guess, it's about time to explore the beauty of my own country This site has helped me a lot with all the infos available, contributed by everyone. I've heard of the many kidnapping incidents in Mindanao which got me worried for awhile, silly thought considering we've lived in the past 5 years in Central america and most cities there aren't exactly safe but that has change since I started reading this forum. BPO sector must be booming these days! I can only recall Teletech, Qualphone and SPI-bacong a couple of years back. Good to hear that the city is slowly gaining its grounds in the BPO industry. Welcome Po and enjoy your stay in DI!
