Good day Fellow DI'ers!! I was just wondering if anybody in this forum or knows someone who might be interested in snakes as a pet? There are two snakes available actually. 1) Boa constrictor imperator - (length: 6 ft) 2) reticulated Python - (length: 5 ft) Both snakes are less than a 1-yr old, feeding well, will take frozen/thawed prey, very docile, and managable. PRICE: USD 150 per snake (interested buyer may convert it to Philippine peso) ---> If interested buyer decides to buy both snakes, the price will be USD 250 for the two.
Hi, archon.. I am just wondering do you have a permit to sell that? Those snakes might be confiscated by the DENR if you do not have necessary papers. I am just concerned
I asked the owner about this RBH. He says the "reticulated Python" probably could be considered PI wild life, but the "Boa constrictor imperator" can't be considered a wildlife since both parents are from South America but the boa was breed here in Dumaguete. First, the boa ain't wild life since its actualy breed; second, since both of its parents are South American snakes, the boa can't be considered a "PI" snake.
archon, to make sure check this link : R.A. 9147 it's about Republic Act 9147 re: "Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act." What I know is that selling wildlife in the Philippines needs permit and the wildlife must come from legal sources.. angel
