    Hey everyone, Brian from Alberta here. Glad to have found this place as there seems to be lots of information about life in the Philippines and thats something I need. Was in San Carlos City last march and married my long time Viber sweetheart. She has been in Hong Kong the last 3 years working as a domestic slave and now shes back home waiting for me to get things in order so I can retire there.

    Edmonton is a great place. I see the temp this week is hovering around the same temperature a the freezer in my refrigerator so that ain't so bad. But Philippines sure has Edmonton beat as a retirement destination. Welcome.

    Hi Brian Iam from Sask. retired and heading for Dumaguete Jan 12 to check rentals I discovered this forum in nov. While still in Canada and find it very helpful

    You quoted Clouts post but I'll assume your talking to me and say thanks. Seems there's a few Canadians down there so when im in country ill be sure to look you guys up for at least a coffee or lunch if anyone is willing...
