Those are called night crawlers where I am from. Have some of those in my yard. Big ones. if they are in your lawn consider yourself to have a nice fertile plot. They love good soil and keep your lawn aerated.
The ones I have are supposed to be African night crawlers; from what I've read they are very good for composting. The night crawlers I used to fish with back in the States are not good for composting buy do aerate the soil in your yard. Shawn
Shawn, This is my third attempt to make this particular posting and I think it will get thru as most of the changes have been made. Shawn, I have also watched many youtube videos of the EVG, 3D panel, it is quite impressive and I’m leaning toward using this method. I really like the idea of the load bearing walls and second story floor being poured simultaneously to create a seismic resistant structure. If we were to build where ready mix concrete is available and a pump truck it would be fantastic. I have some grave concerns about trying to pour the walls and floor with a one or two bagger concrete mixer. It would take about two days of continuous pouring to complete and even then you would have cold joints someplace. It might work with two, two bagger mixers running at the same time but would require a crew of 10 to 15 for each mixer. Then of course a two week vacation afterwards, for me, not them. I would like to know your opinions of the pour itself and how to overcome the potential issues I pointed out.
