That's where I went last Sunday - Booth No. 1 next to the steps. The ladies pointed me down the street somewhere towards 7/11.
southeast corner of the park is how i would describe it, south end of the row of tents they set up on sunday
Many thanks to those that came and ate with us today at Valencia Market. We are having a pot roast dinner this Friday, July 31. 5:00 to 7:30 give or take. Tender pot roast beef, yeast rolls, Yorkshire puddings, ciabatta bread, or cornbread. Vegetables, drink and dessert. 290p I will have other dishes available if you don't want pot roast. Fish and chips, chicken Parmesan, lasagna, baked ziti, baked chicken breast with bread stuffing or cornbread dressing. Please let me know if you are coming so I can have enough pot roast. Let me know if you need directions.
Thank you to all of our customers and friends that have been supporting our efforts. We just completed the process for our building permit for a restaurant in Valencia. It will be on Legarda right at the corner of West Balugo Road. That is 1.2 km north of the main Valencia Dumaguete highway on Legarda St. If you are on the main highway going toward Dumaguete from the Valencia Market, turn left at the road just past Neva's and go 1.2 km. The road on the left at that point is West Balugo. We will be on the far corner. It will probably take a couple of months, maybe a little more. It will only be a small place but will give us the space to be able to serve our friends and customers better and serve all our regular foods as hot meals. We have a few more standards of ours to add to the menu also, such as country fried steak, smoked pork shoulder bbq, fried chicken, etc., etc. Nothing fancy, just good quality simple food. It is called "Joy Bamboo Cafe". Here is a drawing of what the place will look like. Not exact, just an artists rendering. It's shady there so once we get open we will probably be adding a couple places to sit in the yard too.
wish you the best in this!! happy your experience so far is leading to more permanancy, esp in these times
