Katz has become "the Red Table" of Bacong, expat hangout, albeit with a proper business acumen, unlike other retardedly run places up the hill (Britchie!). Just wish it was, like, on the plaza instead of the yukky hiway. I get the cheeseburger with fries, but tell cook to flatten out the patty so it covers the entire bun and isn't unbitably thick. Too much for one, we sometimes split it. Best burger in town. Fun Friday nite oldie R&R band/buffet as of late also.
I too had an early lunch with the Mrs at Katz's today, agree with the OP, good food, good service. reasonably priced with great hosts. Will definitely be back there again. Keep it up guy’s it’s a winner.
Just lacking fish/shell food dishes, wife won't eat the meat of anything. Don't know what changed her eating habits!
Is it Jerry from Tom and Jerry, I agree their personality are very similar lol. I thought hes name was Gerry. Been there and agree, great food, like the vibes, nice staff and the open construction fit me, for sure a place I will visit regularly
I don’t know if it’s the same guy, but I can confirm they do a great French bread pizza as my Mrs enjoyed a margarita with extra jalapeños there a few days ago. I had the regular burger with fries which was also very good.
Katz is not yet built the wood fire oven. It is in the business plan to be making the "Gerry's" pizza within the next 90 days in a new brick oven... And yes it is the same Gerry..
The new chicken cordon bleu is excellent but HUGE for 295p. we split one for a "lite" lunch. Gerry, the girls need some skimpy outfits, and please, a BIG lighted sign so newbies don't bypass you along the hiway.
