Does anyone have a clear handle on Kojak's health. His wife's friend told me they were in Cebu for chemo.

He wrote about it in a recent edition of the Negros Chronicle, saying he thought it could be connected with exposure to Agent Orange. He also seemed very pissed off with the lack of support from the Veterans Medical facility.

Sad news and hope he can recover, if that is the right word.

My best friend and I served together for two tours and he had throat cancer, also associated with agent orange. The VA would only accept the fact it was agent orange caused if he could produce a letter verifying his service in Vietnam. Unbelieveable as it was on his DD 214 as well as time of service and medals received. I wrote a letter confirming that I was his immediate superior and he did serve there. They did surgery on him and chemo also. He was finally approved by VA for total disability but only after a long fight. Today, 11 years later he is doing fine. We pray for Kojak also for a total and complete recovery.
