    The Major approved the cut down another 100 year old tree on the Blvd. That is the second one in two years. How come nobody cares??

    :facepalm: Maybe they got the wrong tree, it should have been the one at the Airport:rolleyes:
    but seriously, this is a disgrace and I am not sure he should have approved it. These tress are listed & protected There is a Government Department that should be dealing with things like this. :unsure: Obviously he did not think to inform them :pompus:

    Yes it is quite an old Act but I don't see any Updates. So I would think it still stands as sadly the tree has not :thumbsup:

    yes a very sad thing to cut mature trees. My experience a pinoy neighbor cut a beautiful tree down to build a house. I showed him tree rings and explained to him that the tree he cut was 800 years old . He cared less...ignorance and tuba wins...sad

    As we all know not one law is enforced in dumaguete or surrounding areas! Political reasons we all presume.
