The Major approved the cut down another 100 year old tree on the Blvd. That is the second one in two years. How come nobody cares??
Maybe they got the wrong tree, it should have been the one at the Airport but seriously, this is a disgrace and I am not sure he should have approved it. These tress are listed & protected There is a Government Department that should be dealing with things like this. yes a very sad thing to cut mature trees. My experience a pinoy neighbor cut a beautiful tree down to build a house. I showed him tree rings and explained to him that the tree he cut was 800 years old . He cared less...ignorance and tuba wins...sad
As we all know not one law is enforced in dumaguete or surrounding areas! Political reasons we all presume.
