Mail Delivery

Thanks Pat. I didn't know that. When did that start? The last time I received mail in Bacong was March of 2012. It was a letter from a friend in the U.S. and I received it in less than 2 weeks. (10 days?)

 

Works for us too! I left my phone # and I receive a text when there is mail or parcel for us. Sofar, so good!

You ready for this?? To make matters even MORE pathetic, this piece of mail originated in Dumaguete City, and was making the long trip to Dumaguete City!! Talked to the guard of our subdivsion about our postman, all he said was something about the postmaster dying..(I heard the last one retired), did the new one die??!! I didn't make it to the post office today, but still plan on doing that.

 

That Sucks Pat......Too bad You couldn't have sent it to Me and I'd drop it off to You on the 8th of June when I arrive....

 

Thanks anyway John. Turns out I am I am in the same boat as you in that my 2009 overpayment check I am waiting on has both my name and my ex's. She is in Makati and has agreed to sign. Btw, could you please bring a good bottle of California cabernet when you come and I will pay you when you get here. Cheers.

 

I have the same problem,.. no mail delivery... I live in Daro.

I went upstairs to talk to the mail man and he told me,... " It takes to long to deliver the mail to your house" so I just have him text me when I get mail... then I go to the PO upstairs and pick it up.... if he is there.. lol
