Is there anywhere in DGT that handles and/or cuts marble stone other than Citi Hardware. All CH seems to handle is granite and only 3/4" thick.

Why do you prefer marble over granite? I think marble asborbs materials such as fats more easily than granite and has many other disadvantages.

You can cut off a length of marble 2 inches wide and epoxy it to the underside of the counter. After some sanding to shape the edge it makes the marble look like it is 1-1/2 inches thick. My carpenter does that and it looks pretty good. The glue joint is barely visible.
