Duterte has said we will be 'back to normal by December, as there will be a vaccine available.' Looking forward to another 4 months of this, followed by a few extensions when the vaccine is not ready.

Perhaps so, but remember we are just one month away from the 'ber' Season. I don't think he wants to shut down the economy to much longer. Holy Week was one thing, Christmas is entirely different here.

Time will tell. The medical community in Bacolod sent the Palace a letter requesting they go back to ECQ. The Governor, Mayor and Business community were against it. They are still under MGCQ.

    I don't know.
    December?

It will be interesting to see how efficiently the vaccine gets distributed. Immediately there will be a demand for at least 1 billion doses around the world. This is a big number to package, ship distribute, and inject.

I do not think the Philippines will be first on the list.

There have been posts of high ranking Filipino government officials with the foreign minister of China, with China confirming that Philippines will get priority with their vaccine. Roll up, roll up for the Chinese version of vaccine.

What this means is, the Philippines will provide large numbers of test subjects.

I assume they will be also giving it to their own citizens (and possibly to other countries with whom they curry favour) - if they hold back for their own citizens then we will know why.

Anyway, I would not want it even if they paid me.

It is possible there will be a number of different country's vaccines being used near to each other in time - so perhaps best for individuals to wait and see the outcome before committing to one.

Some may be given by inhalation - not sure if that will be slower than injection or even could be self administered.
