The last time I ordered the filet, it was COLD, can you believe that! Strongly suggest that you ask to see steak before it is cooked.
The last time I ordered one was way back...... last night. Definitely the best one so far! Large, about 6" diameter, cooked a perfect medium rare, hot, and the bacon was thick and just a bit charred - yummy! This is the Phils and just like any resto anywhere, we are subject to that day's meat delivery, on duty cook, and waitress. Last night I hit the trifecta while the night you went was a strikeout. As for me I will go back as I'm willing to risk the $6 "roll of the dice".
My gf an I like outdoor seating cafes so we tried moon Cafe at robinsons we ordered ribs an corn on the cob-well that is the worst meal I have ever had at a restaurant will I return maybe only coz I like sitting outdoors at cafes but I won't be ordering ribs.
I always got their steak or steak tips with the mashed potatoes. Tried the "Mexican" food a couple of times and it was the most disgusting stuff I ever had. But, loved their mashed potatoes and the steak dishes were always pretty good.
Wow have had their Ribs (Mexican style they call them)... a couple of times and they were really good just had again last week .... hmmm ??
