    Has anyone ridden a motorcycle from dapitan to lligan, is it safe to do so.?

    Have done in the distant past, unsure what the security situation is like now. Was a good road, couple of army/ police check points. Have copies of your drving license & registration handy, when they wave you down.

    been riding from Surigao to Dapitan last weekend - few checkpoints, never had to actually stop, overall felt as dangerous as any other philippine highway. I strictly stayed on the coastal highway though.

    Ive just got back from a motor ride on mindano and i never saw any checkpoints now martial law has been lifted. Roads were mostly quiet also.
